Tuition & Financial Aid

Tuition

The online Master of Social Work (MSW) at Case Western Reserve University is a Council on Social Work Education-accredited, 60-credit program that provides the same innovative and flexible curriculum as the university’s on-campus program.

There is an additional $20 activity fee per credit hour for online MSW students.

The tuition for 2023-2024 academic year is $1,650 per credit hour.

Please note that tuition and fees are subject to change and may increase each year.

Financial Aid

There are many ways to fund your graduate social work education. When evaluating how to pay for your degree, you should consider a number of options, including personal resources, external scholarships, employer tuition assistance and federal student aid programs.

Scholarships

All incoming students in the online Master of Social Work program will be considered for program scholarships.

Scholarships are offered upon admission into the program. Additional funding opportunities are evaluated based on the pool of the overall incoming class.
